Tom’s background is primarily in liner shipping. He has been 12 years with the Maersk Group working in Oceania, Europe and West and Central Africa.
Tom has a very strong commercial and business development profile. His previous position was as Trade Director for the Europe-Africa Line with Transinsular in Portugal.
With a strong background in business development on the African continent, Tom is an asset for all JGH projects in Africa.
Tom is keen on using his experience and network to create unique value to our customers.
Tom holds both New Zealand and French citizenships.
He started his professional life in New Zealand, but a love of travel and going outside of his comfort zone has taken him first to Europe and ultimately Africa, where he has work in Gabon, Ghana and Marroco.
